TOUR ITINERARY 2025: Bordeaux and Dordogne Valley - 8 Day Tour
Bordeaux and Dordogne Valley
Day 1: Arrive in Bordeaux. Check in at Hotel for 2 nights. Afternoon walk of Bordeaux city Centre. Evening Welcome dinner with Drinks
Day 2: After breakfast we visit Margaux wine region - 2 wine tasting and tour at Grand Cru Chateaux with Lunch
Day 3: Take your Luggage with us as we travel to Sarlat Le Caneda. On the way we visit St Emilion, a historic chateau for wine tasting and a tour. Lunch at Bistrot and walk around the pretty tour of St Emilion. We continue 2.5 hours on to Sarlat Le Caneda & evening dinner.
Day 4: After Breakfast, Visit to the Lost valley, at les Ezyies and villages and chateaux. Lunch at pretty Bistrot before visiting the Dordogne Valley. The evening is for you to enjoy wandering the medieval town of sarlat where you will have many choices to have dinner.
Day 5: After Breakfast we visit the prehistoric caves of the valley of mankind. Visit the cave of Lascaux and its museum at Montignac. Lunch at pretty village along the Vezere river After lunch we take a little electric train to visit the cave of 100 Wooley mammoths at Rouffignac.. Return to Sarlat for a group dinner.
Day 6: After breakfast we visit the neighboring region of the Lot Valley. We visit the famous Pilgrim site of Rocamadour. Lunch with a lovely view and afternoon visit to a goat cheese farm. The evening is for you to wander. The cobbled streets of Sarlat for your own choice of dinner if you choose.
Day 7: After. Breakfast we make another visit to wander the pretty medieval villages and Chateau of the Dordogne. Option to visit. Topiary gardens or Milandes Chateau of Josephine Baker.
Day 8: Final day for departure to return to Bordeaux for your onward travel arrangements. There are many options for departures. . Please request information to help you plan the best routes for onward travel
